Report of The Greek Committee
In the earlier part of the Greek contest it was
earnestly desired & strongly recommended to the provisional
parliament of Greece that they should dispatch envoys
to the different parts of Europe, which had shown in order to give show an
strong sympathy in these cases. effect to that enthusiasm which had spontaneously manifested itself in their favour.
But it was only
at the start of the year 1822 that this a series
of enabled the Greeks to adopt these
suggestions, g and Agaeus was then
commissioned
