Redemption is a heavenly, lovely impulse –<lb/>
 
A fleecy pile <add>(heaped up)</add> dissolves itself<lb/>
Tripping like a lamb it is softly combed to the heap<lb/><lb/>
So flies <add><gap/></add> at last <gap/> had it berth beneath<lb/>
To the father above tranquilly – to his bosom &amp; his  hand.</p>

<p>But now <del>again</del> by the attractive power of earth<lb/>
That is drawn down again which was mounted so high<lb/>
In maddened thunder-storms it speaks <add><gap/></add><lb/>
Like contending armies – they roll &amp; are blown away<lb/>
To the busy earth – a suffering destiny!<lb/>
Lift your thoughts with this picture before you<lb/>
Speech goes downward – as she describes –<lb/>
The spirits soars upwards – &amp; remains for ever there.</p>
