conduct of the <del>individual</del> <add>offender</add> himself –<lb/>

Of the Ends of Punishment.

are those that such as might ans ensue from the
conduct of the individual offender himself –
General prevention – where the Evils that
are such as might ensue from the
conduct of persons at large.
