Of Punishments

Banishment from the presence of any person (suppose the ) the party
injured admits of two degrees. 1. Where the
party injured being already in a place, the offender
is not to come into any that place. This is the
lowest degree. 2. Where the offender being already
in a place, the party injured by upon coming
& finding him there may oblige him to depart.
This is the highest degree.
