that you had indeed killed a man, but that that man
was not your Son father: or that you had killed your son but
not wilfully.

5. It may be false by being imperfect: in other words by being
accompanied with the suppression of truth: that is of a material
circumstance that really existed in the case. As if the
case was that You really did kill your son, and that
wilfully, but that your son father was making an attempt on
your life, and that you killed him reluctantly having
no other means of saving Yourself. In all these cases
the notion may be said to be false upon the whole.

Punishment.

For Defamation the offender may be punished
with one or all of the following punishments according
to the severity of the offence.
