F.11 (a) Here commences the paper referred to in the foregoing

F.11 (b) Note on the Original. So, instead of the words proposed
to be cancelled, insert the following – viz: as

indicated by the Returns printed in the House of Commons

Mr Nepean, and all along assumed to be so in several conversations
between him and me. His surprize at the

a conception was adhered to (maintained

phenomena, was, at this time at best, as much
