FORNICATION INDIRi LEGISLAT: Female Monopoly.

In return for the partial monopoly which such the
Male exercisers of Female occupations as are tolerated would require from
the exclusion of their competitors of their own, a
contribution might not unreasonably be required expected from
them: greater or less[?] in proportion to the degree of
profitableness of their respective Trades — thus a M vendor
Millinery or Mercury ware should pay more than a
Dealer in Woman's Shoes or Stays.

These regulations may be consider'd as indirect remedies
against female Debaucherydissoluteness in a xxx double
view

1st in the character of traders as promoting men persons of that Sex with a subsistence
from which they are so far have been hitherto debarred

2 In That of As subtracting another part of the Sex in
the character) In that of customers as subtracting <add>debarring them</add> from temptations to which the
intimate access of familiarity of men may be imagined to exposes them
