When the extent to <add>in</add> which <del>this <del>deg</del> inconvenience<lb/> of</del> in respect of the number of persons <add>that would be subjected to the <add>burthen</add> <sic>burthened</sic> is<lb/> considered, this in Scotland a country to which<lb/> the <sic>burthen</sic> is new will be found <add>of itself</add> so great, that<lb/> the body of advantage <del>can not</del> <add>in <del>any</del> other shapes</add> must be great indeed,<lb/> to <add>to afford an adequate compensation for it</add> outweigh it.</p>
