Art. 4. (formerly 5) succedaneum amendment

with an allowance annext to the said office of not less than
£6000 £12000 a year payable quarterly clear of all taxes, fees, gratuities
and other deductions whatsoever and with which in case of arrear
as aforesaid together with
[Insert as also of £6 a head year per head
payable in like manner for every convict of the said thousand so delivered
to him as aforesaid, which the said several allowances of £6000 a year
and £6 a head shall
to to be paid quarterly clear of all taxes fees gratuities
and other deductions whatsoever and with interest in case of arrear as aforesaid.

In Art. 3 (formerly 4) on the s the following erasures to be made
on the same terms of £12 a year per head as the herein abovementioned
original number of 1000
with the addition of only £18 a
head the such convicts and in his custody as aforesaid
