1831 Nov. 15
Nomography Collectanea

"The age of the present possessor is about 40: it is
given in reversion to the son of Lord Eldon, who is
about the same age." Mr Tyrrell's letter of 17 Nov/31 to
Mr Bentham.

"They would, by their unanimity and support,
give a power to the Ministers in whom they
confided, that would defy all obstructions against
the measure of reform, who would remain firm,
and undaunted by those borough-mongering
Peers and selfish Prelates who had been able to check
their cause, but not defeat it." Morn. Chron. 15 Nov 1831.

"Rational men only expected to proceed gradually
– only desired to do so –" Morn. Chron., Galloways
Speech, Nov. 22, 1831.

..... We are indebted for all that constitutes the
organization which enables a handful of men to
retain a hundred million in subjection
to the French, who first set the example.
Morn. Chron. Nv. 1 Dec. 1831
