<p>Art. 1.  Few compensation-requiring costs as well ordinary as extraordinary<lb/>
respecting which provision requires to be made and<lb/>
will accordingly be made by the present code will be such as<lb/>
continue to be occasioned by the suit after notwithstanding all<lb/>
such arrangements as have been or shall have been made for<lb/>
the purpose of minimizing this burden on the parties – this<lb/>
defalcation from the relief afforded by the hand of judicature <add>justice</add>.</p>
<p>Art. 2.  Of these arrangements a general conception is presented<lb/>
to you as follows. –</p>
<p>1.  <del>Transferance</del> Of such part of the burden as <add><del>is</del></add> would be<lb/>
imposed as under other systems is imposed on the parties by<lb/>
the obligation of affording the remuneration allotted to the<lb/>
several classes of judicial functionaries.</p>
<p>2.  Adding so far as concerns this purpose to the number of<lb/>
judicial functionaries the services rendered by the administrational<lb/>
functionaries employed in the transmission of letters<lb/>
and other subject matters of conveyance.</p>
<p>3.  Deduction made from the expence of orally delivered<lb/>
evidence of a person convened from the territory of a distant<lb/>
judicature by the transference made of the function of taking<lb/>
his examination to the judge of his own judicatory.</p>
<p>4.  Substitution of epistolary-elicited to orally elicited evidence<lb/>
where the advantage thus obtained by subserviency to the collateral<lb/>
ends of judicature it being preponderant over any<lb/>
disadvantage producible with reference to the direct ends of<lb/>
judicature.</p>
<p>5.  For the registration of all official written evidence<lb/>
<unclear>securing</unclear> made by the use of the manifold mode of writing.</p>
<p>6.  So in regard to now official written evidence in so<lb/>
far as copies more than one are found requisite.</p>
<p>7.  To the relatively helpless exoneration given from the<lb/>
burden of providing remuneration for professional auxiliaries<lb/>
by admission given to gratuitous auxiliaries and in case of<lb/>
need provision made for professional auxiliaries in the<lb/>
situation and character of professional lawyers as pert Const.<lb/>
