least <hi rend="underline">not discharged</hi>, by the <hi rend="underline"><unclear>minstrina</unclear></hi> by which the ordinary colour<lb/>
would be capable of being discharged, would, in spit of the action<lb/>
of such <hi rend="underline"><unclear>minstrina</unclear></hi>, remain to a sufficient degree discernible. <hi rend="underline">Probatum</hi></p>
<p>2. In the composition of the <hi rend="underline">Paper</hi>, add an ingredient of such a<lb/>
nature as, by the <hi rend="underline">change of colour</hi> it would undergo, would betray the<lb/>
action of any <hi rend="underline"><unclear>minstrina</unclear></hi> capable of discharging the colour of the ink<lb/>
or pigment. &#x2014;</p>
<p>N. B. By the discovery of that almost universal <sic>distroyer</sic> of colour <gap/><lb/>
<hi rend="underline">Roxy muriatic acid</hi>, the value of the abovementioned indication is however<lb/>
much reduced. &#x2014;</p>

action of any minstrina capable of discharging the colour of the ink
