to entertain any opinion by which if known to<lb/>
be entertained by any person the feelings of those<lb/>
great characters would respectively be hurt, prejudiced<lb/>

<p>Of the said M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Percival it would <add>on the supposition just mentioned</add> be impossible<lb/>
as aforesaid to entertain any such opinion as that<lb/>
by any such annuity as aforesaid or any part thereof<lb/>
that advice given by him to his Majesty would or<lb/>
could in any measure be influenced.</p>
<p>Of the said Lord Ellenborough it would in like<lb/>
manner be impossible to entertain any such opinion<lb/>
as that by the <del>said</del> sum of £7,<lb/>
or the apprehension of being the same or any part thereof<lb/>
the conduct of <del>the sa</del> his said Lordship in respect of the<lb/>
using his influence <add>authority</add> to prevent the decrease of the number<lb/>
of the occasions whereby <add>on which</add> the fees composing the said capital<lb/>
sum come to be received <add>due and payable</add> could be influenced.</p>
<p>But of <add>to</add> the future contingent successor of either of<lb/>
those great characters in their respective high situations<lb/>
their motives and <del><gap/></del> dispositions – their views and intentions<lb/>
by which the conduct of mankind in general<lb/>
is influenced and <add>regulated</add> determined, may be attributed<lb/>
without fear or scruple.</p>

Of the Right Honourable Spencer Percival in
his high situation – of the Right Honourable
the Lord Ellenborough in his Lordship's high situation – it
is impossible for any man of ordinary prudence
to entertain any opinion by which if known to
be entertained by any person the feelings of those
great characters would respectively be hurt, prejudiced
inj violated or injured.

Of the said Mr Percival it would on the supposition just mentioned be impossible
as aforesaid to entertain any such opinion as that
by any such annuity as aforesaid or any part thereof
that advice given by him to his Majesty would or
could in any measure be influenced.

Of the said Lord Ellenborough it would in like
manner be impossible to entertain any such opinion
as that by the said sum of £7,
or the apprehension of being the same or any part thereof
the conduct of the sa his said Lordship in respect of the
using his influence authority to prevent the decrease of the number
of the occasions whereby on which the fees composing the said capital

But of to the future contingent successor of either of
