Sinecures

Nor Nor do I mean to deny, but that cases may have
place, in which if men are content to make a sacrifices
to an indefinite amount extent in the shape of compleatness
and correctness and compleatness, savings may
be made and sometimes perhaps to no inconsiderable amount
in the shape articles of delay vexation and or expence, by
the substitution of second immediate or multimediate or other still more remote
in the room of first hand and immediate evidence.

They

Thus much however I will take venture upon me to
state with confidence without reserve – and let the reader judge
whether it be not on sufficient ground – that if,
sooner or later the evidence called for on this occasion
had in every instance were that which the general principles of common law agreeing
for this once this few with those of common sense points out
as that which where it is to be had is the is best
adapted to the discovery of truth, a spectacle and source of
misrule would which as it is, may be seen exhibited
on the face of those Reports would probably
have been spare saved.
