Scotch Reform To Ld Grenville
To save them from this loss mishap, the cause just as it is ripe
for decision is packed off without decision: sent out
packed off unjudged from the Court without, that it may have
its course to run over again in the Court within. At
this point of time the Lord Ordinary has learnt as much as needs
to know, or at least as much as he chooses to know about
the cause: at this point of time all the labour information thus bestowed
obtained is thrown away as soon as it has been obtained, and the cause is sent to receive be decided
its decision from a mob of Judges 15 in number, of
whom all but one know at this time at least nothing of the
matter, and but have it all to learn and to learn from him, and through no other eyes but his, such of them whose
pleasure and destiny it, sent to learn from him, and through his eyes, may be to learn more or less of it.
Note that this is the case with all
