Note? to p.27
(a)The complication incident to this state of things
may merit as present itself at the moment, as an objection to the
measure. + + Notes of two speces current at a time: those of the closed spece bearing a premium, different in each class the several classes how ever numerous: those of the open spece, bearing no premium: and each note, increasing and thereby verging in value month after month every year, half year, quarter, month, week, or day as time advances, be according to the magnitude of the note.] But, as to Government the complication
will not be attended with any embarrassment. Whatever
variables the price may be subjected to in
the way of circulation, government there will be
but one price for government to pay on redemption,
or receive on spece. To individuals the variety
is productive of neither loss nor trouble. Where
the diffusion is no object to a man, he will accordingly
pay on taking a stock, or s make a demand
on parting with it: accordingly: when it the difference is no
object, he will neither pay it nor demand it. Disputes It can not be productive of any dispute:
since whatever may be the difference amount, no man has
any right
