In offences by trustees Remain the consideration of the evil of the offence.

This evil will require to be considered in two points of view.
the Considered in one of these points of view and that the most obvious the evil of the offence
whatsoever it be in other particulars, will appear to be aggravated
by their collateral circumstances: or if in this or that case
the evil of the offence – the of the individual wronged may
appear not to have received encrease, the demand for punishment
may appear to have received encrease. The Of the
circumstances productive of the effect – the general name
is – breach of confidence: whatsoever be the occasion breach of confidence
will be apt to present itself as , creator of a demand for punishment.
Of this demand however the foundation it will be seen it is sufficiently manifest is
in the sentimental principle. He who should have been protected
self-converted into oppression.

For For answering the demand for punishment what will in
general be sufficient if where, if any where any addition to the ordinary punishment necessary will be the
the delinquent in an ignominious situation with the men of the
species of trustee the power of which has been abused by him attached
to his person: as in case of a grievous personal wrong offence
committed by a Guardian against the person, reputation or person
and reputation together of his Ward.
