Art. 1. Wrongful interception of reputation
is when without justificative cause, and by criminal practice
one person prevents another from obtaining deriving
from meritorious service or merit in any shape actually by one or more individual acts displayed by him
he honour esteem justly due, or from exercising any act
which otherwise could have been exercised by him, and for
which, if exercised, honour would have been due to him
and would accordingly have been received.
