Such under an absolute Monarchy, or an
aristocracy-ridden and by corruption-working mixt
monarchy is the lot of the human race. Disposed
of according to the humour of a single being of human race and in human
form and of human race, but in character widely separated
from every other in whose hands the same vast mass
of power is not condensed. He lives encompassed with
a perpetual cloud: deeds of darkness are all his deeds.,
and thus far at any rate he is the image of the divinity.
With no other human being has he ever any such intercourse
as it one with another all others held continually.
From his very cradle he is told and told intimation
is given to him and given to him continually – that
all human being subject to his power were created to
his use. To a proposition to this effect it is not in human
nature to be backward to the giving credit: of whomsoever
else it is the creed his it can not fail to be.
