Let us next examine the conformity between
our Author's extracts from the Code of Nature,
& the Law of Revelation.

Let us remember that By revealed Law, as our the Author has laid down his propositions, we must understand all those laws, which have been immediately & directly revealed at any of the sundry times, or in div any of the afterwards: to cut the divers manners, he speaks of. For he makes no distinction, nor exception. "Hurt no body, (says the Law of Nature, speaking
"through our Author)" & render to everyone
"his due." — Walk through a Land says the Law should I be thought to render to
every one his due, if I took it into my head,
that walking through another man's field ground
gave me a title to those grounds: & that such
a title so acquired gave my descendants a
right to enter upon these grounds, to knock some hundred years cut the
of the afterwards to cut the throats of the the landlord, & his tenant, & their Servants;
on & to take possession of Lands, houses, crops, &
Stock? Yet so says the Law of revealed law as contained
in the old Testament. — Should I be thought
to hurt no body, if I killed every man, woman
& child who fell in my way during the
execution of this project, whether they
resisted or whether they submitted: Yet
so such are the commands of the Law of revelation
as contained in the books of Revelations. the old Testament.
Surely then these Laws of Revelation is by
no means conformable to the our Author's Law of
Nature, Yet all the Laws of found in the holy scripture are Laws of
Revelation if the Author has made no distinction nor execution
Yet be they ever so discordant our Author
is determined to tack them together; & having
once joined them will suffer no man to put them asunder. For
