The good wise man keeps his course unveil'd –
Unswerving Untrampled – thro' life's short span:
He has nothing And believes, what's wither his breast conceal'd
From the sight of May be to known to his fellow-man.
Where ever you see him, you see
with him – warm hearted honesty.
The world is so small, – so narrow – so bare
It has nothing to interest him:
He has nought to do in his passage there
But to watch his welfare best
His proud spirit proud – as cold as stone –
Has love sympathy with itself alone
But old truths invigorate light
Without its warmth ere thine
And say was there ever wisdom bright
That made not the heart its throne?
Then go – luckless one! to the go –
And bid him partake of your joy & woe
