Bankruptcy Court Bill

Thinking of the Bill as I do – regarding it as one entire the fabric as altogether
in so large a proportion of rotten mass of rottenness – what is it that I propose. To
throw it out altogether pull it down the whole of it and send it into the fire?
No: but to apply amendments to it.

Why not throw it out altogether: Because the
is
so bent is the system, that a curse is more
than human ingenuity would be able to . This bent
fabric the Bill pulls down: and this for what it does is good.
The business then is by temporary to substitute to
it by degree the least system that the existing sinister interests
interest-begotten, and authority-begotten prejudices will
suffice to be established substituted: this for a make-shift, this for a time
untill one more of Judicial Establishment with a correspondent
system of Judicial Procedure directed to the ends of justice,
and suited to the intelligence of the age, shall come to be
established.
