22 These accordingly he humbly entreats the Honble House
should is be the good fortune of the Public to obtain on their part a
hearing from the Honble House, to take notice of the department of
every one of all sorts of its number as belong to the profession in
any class or part thereof — to take notice of that department, namely
(with the exception of the approval of the express proposed substitution, if
any such there be) whether there be so much as a single one
of them, by whom, either by silence when those called upon, is by
the insufficiency of his arguments make virtual confession of
his of the of the existing regular system, and
the aptitude of the proposed summary system.

23 That given on the part in the instance of any thing which in
the way of argument it may happen to have been uttered either
in support of the one or the condemnation of the other Your Petition
humbly entreat the Honble House to observe whether

as vituperation in reference to the supposed
