These distinctions of
different cases of possession
are immaterial — their
origin in feudal times

Altogether immaterial in themselves are the distinctions
between the several case designated respectively by the appellations

in the widely distant time called feudal times, sprang the
positions for making these distinctions.

Secure would be the labour of endeavouring to comprehend
them: precarious the success of the attempt.

satisfied.

Without or against the consent of a certain person or
persons respectively, may you derive for the thing in question the
benefit in question — without having recourse to a suit at law?
this is the question which the same question which in relation on every occasion
it is your interest to be satisfied.

moveable or immoveable (— a )
