§.54 1. Reinquiry the 1st §.54 "Provided further that if the
"defendant shall file no plea, and judgment shall be
"signed against him, and he shall afterward appear at

§.56. 2. Reinquiry the 2d. §.56. When a plaint has
been entered upon the list or paper of plaints, the said
plaints (in plural) are to be tried all together
"at the next sittings of the Judge Ordinary or
"immediately after the action entered for trial," that is
to say nobody knows when — at the Greek Calends, or on
the Mahometan Christmas day, as per §56, "unless"
