Art. 5 1. The feat of deception and consequent misdecision
let no evidence be forborne to be received or extracted.
Art. 6 2. For suspicion and scrutiny, untrustworthiness
apprehended on the score of interest or immorality moral
inaptitude, affords appropriate and sufficient cause,
for exclusion, not. Where moral the force of interest corruption and
moral inaptitude each maximized on the same
individual, he is in all his testimony has in the Codes of all
nations been admitted without objection. To exclude
the testimony of any individual is to licence all
injuries and all other crimes committed on his person
or in his presence.
Art. 3. On the score of preponderant evil in the
shape of delay, vexation and expence – on that score and
that alone may evidence be forborne to be received or
extracted.
