This disposition of men in to do themselves right by violence , is spoken of as a
terrible thing — meanwhile It is however this disposition to which all the provision for
the preservation of our constitution refer, to which they suppose, and on which for
their efficacy they depend ultimately.
If a sufficient number conceive it at once , & conceive it strongly, civil war must <add>be</add>
the consequence , or the punishment of those , whose misconduct misdemesnours real or supposed
have has occasioned caused them to conceive it—.
