<p><note>Punishments for Single Adultery with a married Woman.</note> If without <del>Excuse</del> <add>Extenuation</add> an unmarried man commit Adultery<lb/>
with a married Woman his punishment shall be as<lb/>

<p><note>Fine</note> 1. If he be so rich that a sum which would be enough<lb/>
to give the party injured in the way of compensation would<lb/>
not be enough to take from the Offender for the purpose<lb/>
of Punishment, he may be fined.</p>

from the presence of the Husband and of the Wife or either,<lb/>
for a time or forever: so also may he from the presence<lb/>
of any relation or relations of the Wife's.</p>

Of Adultery.

1. Registration 1. Her Name may be registered in the Book of Adultery.

2. Banishment 2. She may be banished the presence of the married
persons either or both of them for a certain time.

Punishments for Single Adultery with a married Woman. If without Excuse Extenuation an unmarried man commit Adultery
