False False Standards are either [standards] of quantity
or [standards] of quality. Standards of quantity are either
of weight or measure. By standards are meant
in this case any instruments which serve to shew
the thing in question to be in a certain such or such a
quantity or of such or such a quality. Standards
may be false in themselves; or made so in the manner of
applying them.
