S. VII. How the burthen of Compensation is to fall among Co-Offenders.
Sect. VII.

The Offender first convicted shall pay the whole.
Where several people persons are concerned in an offence,
any one of them who is convicted before the rest may be made
to pay the whole of the compensation money due to the
parties injured.

But he shall have his remedy successively against the others.
But as fast as any other Co-offender is convicted

which shall be paid into Court for the re-imbursement
of the first Co-offender: upon a third co-offender's being convicted,
