The Canal not
to come in at right
angles but obliquely,
and to serpentine

for catching the
eye and rendering

the furthest part
in pasture for Cows:
with only a Shrubbery
and a walk
surrounding the whole.

There must be no
Kitchen Garden on
the sloping part. It
must be either covered
by Catkins, walks
Shrubberies, pure
Grass or Grass with
fruit trees and other
shrubs scattered on
it.

The Sotimion may
have its own Ice-house,
built a
la Bunce.

So its Cellars,
built in like manner.
