3. III Question the 3d and last - In Article in Item No 4 no
having for its subject the aggregate sum of £1821.16.4 successfully disbursed
by at first the said Mr John Lloyd and the said Mr
Hutchinson, in weekly payments made to workmen employed
at the Accountants home in Queens Square Place and
in the works in question (viz. works consisting in the
construction of machinery to serve for the employment of
Convicts proposed to be employed in the proposed intended Penitentiary
House ) - in the In this article and Query thereto annexed entituled "Query respecting
"the mode of proof," the Accountant had stated the readiness
of the said Mr Lloyd, and the said Mr Hutchinson
with the addition of Mr the said Mr Hutchinsons
testimony if found, deemed necessary, to give his attention
in such manner as the Board should be pleased
to approve, to the of the same Accounts -
Books abovementioned in the character of documents giving an account
of the application made of the aggregate sum in question
to the purpose above mention if maintaining in
that view or pr an affadvit to the effect in question
or oral testimony to be delivered extracted by examination upon
or without oath.
