and a generous disdain for Special Headers and
Attornies Pupils, whose Stock of knowledge is included
in the desk they write on. He seam'd to tread in the footsteps of profane
servile + + earth born reptile drudges, unhallowed by the mith of Alma mater.
He had prudence and penetration and was resolved to lay his foundations
sure. He resolved to clumber ascend up to the heights of
Theology and Pulpit-Metaphysics to fetch materials
for it of due solidity. Foundations thus made
