Of the 22.G.2.c.27 a part is for preventing Embezzlements in
certain Manufactures, & this is explained to amend a part of an Act
of the 13th of the same reign c.8 1-5 to the same purpose:
the 1st. of these Acts recites the 2d verbatim, all but to the Preamble,
and this 2d Act recites a prior Act (which itself was made
to explain & amend a 4th. 1 Sta. St. 2.C.18) also verbatim,—
all but to the Preamble.— The Recital in the 2d Act takes up half, that in the
1st. 1 of Ruffhead's prodigious pages.
Of the said 1st Act, another part is for preventing combinations
in certain of the former Manufactures: & this is to explain &
amend an Act of the 13th of the preceding reign.c.34& this part
of the 1st recites verbatim this Act also (all but the Preamble
& the 2 last sections) & this takes up nearly 1 of [the same] like
pages: and this part of the 1st Act is amended by another act29.G.2.c.33
with more recitals & that again by a 3d another,20.G.2.c.12 also with recitals
