Out of the money there may be to spare of the 500 rubles my friend
would be glad to have half a dozen neat Saddlecloths of different
patterns, and for me a Saddle with 2 saddle cloths & a double bridle
that is with a curb. my saddle should be smooth & hard without any
girt to come over it or anything else to which can take hold of the
breeches or cause any obstacle to the motion there should be between
the saddle & the breeches. The flap for the same reason should come
down below the knees. What other things I have described for myself
might likewise be paid for out of this sum if there is any of it to
spare only that I should be acquainted with it directly that I may
reimburse my friend as soon as he is acquainted informed of the money
being taken up.
