Dear Sir/

Though Mr. Benson's Letters do not contain any
Intelligence of Consequence with which you are not informed,
as they are not of so late a Date as those you did me the
honour to read to me in London; yet knowing how anxious
you as a Parent must be to be informed of every minute
Particular relative to your Son, I thought it might be satisfactory
to you to learn from Benson's Account that the Colonel and the
Director general of the Prince's Estates are now upon the best
Terms, that the Reception he gave them in their way to Riga
