from truth as much as the practitioner
will deviate from the supposition in
performing his operation.
To pretend to depend upon no mechanical
operation no archetype in nature
is if it is not such that it
regards it is useless and if it such
it must take them as it finds them
or not at all.
Yet this one of the standing objections
to demonstrating the Props of 5th book
by aliquot parts. This is the reason Euclid
has and lives to exemplify his fifth book.
