When the extremity of out line meets the extremity of another in such a manner as
that if both were produced they would cut one another
they are said to make angle, to contain an angle
If 2 straight lines touch one another at one point
and not at all they are said to make an angle &c,
and the point at which they join [common to both]
is called the angular point. Suppose 2 pair of
lines each pair making an angle. bit of the lines
of one pair he put upon one of the other pair so as
as to to coincide their whole length and so as
that the angular point of one pair be coincide
that of the other. then if the remaining line
of one pair coincide with the remaining one
of the other then there pairs of lines are said
