exception from an obligation
of personal appearance

For the purpose of incurring vexation and expence or rather
for the purpose of avoiding to it — this
fundamental general rule is — except or excepted obligation
of the pursuer personal appearance at the judgment sent on the
part of all parties as well as witnesses

Every person being compelled to appear in the place in
question at any time and then at all times at the instance of<lb?>any person or number of persons appearing in the character
of plaintiff no person from appearing in that character
or for the vexation as above with or
