1 Treason positive active Treason is where a subject(A) without any intention(B) of benefiting(B) the state does any thing
in the view of inducing or helping a foreign
power in to prepare or carry on hostilities

2 [(A) Subject] Every man not coming in an open
manner as part of an armed force is to this purpose a subject
of the state in the dominions of which he

It is also Treason if out of for self lucre or other self-in-terested
motive except fear or indolence or he omitts doing any thing
embracing any extraordinary opportunity that may
occur of frustrating impeding the hostile enterprizes if
such enemies as by wilfully omitting to communicate
any material intelligence concerning their
designs : or to guard or block up any pass into the
country : or to destroy or damage any of the enemies
magazines : or to withdraw any other state
from their alliance : or to induce any other state
to become their enemies : or to excite or foment any
rebellion in their country .
