for curing ambiguity which cannot be cured in any other way

utility of them is so great, that it could wore to be be wished some
characters could be devised & adopted in the room of, in written Instru-
ments, that should appear lefs equivocally to be adopted
by design and by being more complicated should better display
the diversity of hands in any attempt at Falsefication.
