all such values that as can fairly be attributed to it shall be preferred.

13. Example.

A Man buys a Horse for instance for 10 pounds; a
thief shortly after steals it and sells it for 15 pounds. this shall
entitle the owner to have it valued at 15 pounds. If the Horse had
sold but for 5 pounds, still the owner would have been intituled
to have it valued at 10 pounds.;

Restitution of a thing aliened by certain offences may be exacted from any possession

A Party who has been deprived of the possession of a
thing by means of Theft, Enbezzlemente, Fraudulent obtainment,
, or Robbery shall be intitled to have it restor
ed to him be it what it will, so the identity of it can be
ascertained; and that into whose possession it may
have come.
