Embezzlement S Graduation.
Those confidences which any graduation of give opportunity to Embezzlement are such as every one is obliged to pu put in ba <add>bestow on</add>
some one, if not in every one: whereas those which are elicited by — [of] Frauds there is not <add>nothing to</add> a
oblige him to put in any ones nor does it make much difference to a man whether a
mischief may come to him through the hands of any one of a thousand or of one only, if there
is always some one from whom it will arrive.
A proposition anxiety is alleviated by the thought that it is but the of this or that
person whom perhaps he may think he has well tried, from whose hands he has to oppose
a similar stroke calamity: tis instead of a numberless and unknown tribe from whom he has
to fear invasions of the thievish kind — It is aggravated from the thoughts reflection that against
invadiens of the former kind he has not the least possible security; if by the opinion which many
men are apt to entertain, that for such purposes where the opportunity is inviting men
is sufficiently feared. He may farther consider that whereas By the latter method, only some loose chance outskirts of his property ordinarily
be ravished from him: in the former the most secret & valuable part may be selected
by those who have the opportunity by <add>in virtue of their relation to him(as Servants & Inmates) of particularity.</add> knowing where they are deposited, especially if in their more especial charge & possession
besides that such as are intrusted with an unparticipated possession in a place place not ordinarily <add>visited</add> remote from his
