# Promotion of Frugality
the condition of the poor in this respect will, at any
rate, have been raised to a level with that of the
rich;- and will so continue. The habit of frugality
will have taken root; and having so done, may derive
strength rather than weakness from the increased
exertions it will have been called upon to make.—
