Also any circumstance materially adding to the
malignity of the injury, and coming to light after
the rest, may be deemed to have revived it.
Example
As if you hear that a man has beaten
your son, and three weeks after hear that your
son has lost his arm leg by the beating, or that the
man being armed fell upon your son unarmed
and beat him after he had sued for mercy; and
three weeks after that you fell upon the man
and beat him, the provocation is still to be deemed
a recent one.
A series of provocations become recent by connection
In like manner a chainseries of distinct provocations
which are all of them recent with respect to one
another, and of which the last is recent with respect
to the injury shall all of them be deemed
recent with respect to the injury.
