S. Beneficent mediation function

Art. 4. The application made to him may be
made by either parties separately, or by both . or as the case may be all,
if , so much the better.

Art. 5 When In the case of husband and
wife, and in other cases where the barties are of different
sexes, he will do as well to call in as his assistant
a person of the female sex, his own wife or widow, and past
the age of child bearing.

Art. 6 When both or all parties are of the female
sex, he at the desire of either he every one, he may do well to call
in, refer them from himself to, some person some person of the female sex
circumstanced as per Art.
