SECT. II. Law of Nature.
Thus much the Auther has premised for our instruction,
concerning Laws in General. He had ambition
and a generous disdain for Special Headers and
Attornies Pupils, whose Stock of knowledge is included
in the desk they write on. He seam'd to tread in the footsteps of profane
servile + + earth born reptile drudges, unhallowed by the mith of Alma Mater.
He had prudence and penetration and war resolved to lay his foundatons
sure He resolved to clumber up to the heights of
Theology and Pulpit-Metaphysics to fetch materials
for it of due solidity. Foundations thus made
sure, give are an earnest of as sure a superstructure.
[To this end, besides Laws in General, there are three
sorts of Laws and above that which was his subject in particular that he undertaken
to qratify us with an account - of. These are
