4. Purchase of
second-hand furniture

4. Class the fourth. Every person seeking his or her living by purchasing whether for sale any
or for selling may or by commission any Second Hand Apparel (except Shoes)or any second
hand furniture or other articles composed and made
up in the whole or in part <add>principally of Piece Goods, [+] [+] other than such as are commonly as have been employed as Naval Stores, or
any unmade-up or remnants [8] of Piece Goods.
Licence duty, within the London Police District [£2];
elsewhere [£1]. Inscription, Licenced Dealer in Purchaser of Second-hand
Apparel, made up Piece Goods, and remnants for sale. in the recognizance, [ ] Insert

5. Class the fifth. Every person who seeking his or for the purpose
of purchasing for sale of seeking his or her living, by purchasing (whether for sale or by commission) any second-hand Apparel
made-up Piece -Goods or remnants, as as above <add>last
particularized under Class the fourth shall go about from House to House
or from Place to Place as a Pedlar. [+] [+] and not having with him or her any such Cart or Carriage as hereinafter mentioned ( whether he
or she have or have not any shop or place
of trade). Licence duty, if the abode of such person such occupation be
shall have any house lodging or other fixed abode
for a week or more within the town emprinted in his or her licence
