By the The carrying on the process of distillation in vacuo
affords means of producing a
heat of
what shall may be regulated from something
a degree somewhat higher than the lowest at which
the fluid liquid can be made to distill in vacuo
to a degree any thing less than that which would
cause the vapour of the liquid to burst the still.
For this purpose concerning the contents of the still
to form the balaisson (whither the liquid or the vapour
or both) to form the bal, nothing is necessary
but to stop the passage of the vapour out of the
still into the condenser by a Valve which by or loaded by a
weights springsdeterminate weights or otherwise may as to confine the vapour
till it has acquire a predetermined degree of heat
