Certificate of a Justice of the Peace attesting
the truth of an examination passed by a Friendly Bondsman in pursuance of SS
I A. J. having commanded the examination
aforementioned or having seen the above examination purporting
abovementioned to have been taken by A. J. an officer of his Majesty, Justice of the Peace for
do believe it to be true: and having
for years past known the examinant do
believe him or her to be a person of good unexceptionable character, and
fit to be accepted as a Friendly Bondsman Guardian
under the said Act or
Certificate of a Minister, or and a Churchwarden,
attesting the truth of an examination passed by a Friendly Bondsman in pursuance of SS
We the Minister and Church Vicar Rector Vicar or
Curate or I for the present year or for the years of and Churchwarden Overseer of the Poor of having considered the
examination above mentioned do believe it to be
true: and having or having one of us to wit for Years or Months past
known the Examinant do believe him to be a person
of good unexceptionable character, and fit to be accepted
as a Friendly Bondsman under the said Act.

Appointment of an Agent by a Friendly
Bondsman to take charge of a Penitentiary Prisoner
upon the expiration of his or her Term.
I., F. B. having passed examination as above
in the character of Friendly Bondsman to A. P.
now in the Penitentiary-Man therein mentioned
whose term expired on having appointed
A.A. Bearer hereof as my Agent to take charge
of the said A. P. and conduct him to
being the place where at which it is intended he
shall be employ'd. Witness my hand
